Change opening hours once, current everywhere

Why wrong opening hours cost more than you think, and how a single change in the company profile brings website, Google (soon), social (soon) bios, chatbot, booking (soon) and phone greeting (soon) to the same state.

It’s the most mundane piece of information about your business, and the one that’s wrong most often. Google (soon) says Saturday until 2 pm, the website says 1 pm, and the phone greeting (soon) says something else entirely. Every one of those versions was correct at some point. Nobody left it there on purpose; it was just one more place someone would have had to think of.

The cost is real: customers who find the door locked rarely come back a second time. And a one-star review (soon) saying “Google (soon) said open, but it was closed” stays visible for years.

The problem isn’t the opening hours, it’s the places

Count where your opening hours actually appear: website (footer, contact page), Google (soon) Business Profile, Facebook (soon), Instagram (soon) bio, the chatbot on your website, the automatic email reply (soon) while you’re on holiday, the online booking system (soon), the phone greeting (soon). Eight places is normal. And every exception (public holiday, company holiday, stocktaking) multiplies that.

As long as each of those places is maintained separately, it isn’t a question of whether they drift apart, but when.

One source: the company profile

In NEVYLO, your opening hours exist exactly once, in the company profile, together with services, locations, team and contact details. Every other place reads from there. The website shows the hours from the profile, the chatbot answers from the profile, the phone greeting (soon) is generated from the profile.

Whatever lives externally (Google (soon), Instagram (soon), Facebook (soon)) is updated through the connected integration. That’s why the profile isn’t yet another copy but the source that every copy is made from.

What the change looks like in the chat

You type: “Change our Friday opening hours to 8 am to 6 pm, everywhere.” NEVYLO updates the profile and shows you the change overview: website (footer, contact page), Google (soon) Business Profile, Instagram (soon) bio, chatbot, online booking (soon), phone greeting (soon), automatic reply. For each system you see exactly what changes.

Website, chatbot, booking (soon) and greeting (soon) are low risk: they’re updated immediately. Google (soon) and social (soon) bios are medium risk because they’re external and public. There you see a preview and approve, or you have a rule that lets profile syncs run automatically.

Afterwards NEVYLO checks that every change has actually landed and reports back. If Google (soon) isn’t connected, it says so honestly: “Google (soon) Business Profile: connection required.” Nothing is claimed to be updated that wasn’t.

Special hours, holidays, public holidays

“We’re closed from 24 December to 6 January. Show the emergency number everywhere.” Same process, just with a date range and an extra line of text. NEVYLO creates a special rule in the profile, updates every system and automatically reverts it on 7 January. That goes in the audit log too.

NEVYLO knows your country’s public holidays; in the profile you decide whether you’re closed on public holidays or have special hours.

Undo and history

Every profile change is a version. Made a mistake? Say “Undo the opening hours change”. NEVYLO restores the previous version and updates the connected systems to match. In the history you see who changed what, and when.

That’s the real win: not that a change is faster, but that it’s never half-done again.
